Greenough is a suburb of South East & Central,
Western Australia and is about 350 kms north-
northwest of WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Greenough
was 369 when there were 178 Females and 191
Males living there.
Greenough is a historical town 24 kilometres south
of Geraldton on the Brand Highway. The historic
buildings are controlled by the National Trust of
Australia. Another feature popular with tourists are
the trees that are bent 90 degrees due to the
coastal winds.
The mouth of the Greenough River is about 10 km
to the north of the town.
