Kamerunga is a suburb of Northern, Queensland
and is about 1398 kms northwest of QLD's capital
city of Brisbane. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Kamerunga was 926 when there
were 461 Females and 465 Males living there. The

Kamerunga is a suburb of Cairns in the Cairns
Region, Queensland in Australia, located 10 km
(6.2 mi) northwest of the city centre.
In the east farmland predominates, central areas
are used for residential purposes and the west is
mostly undeveloped bushland on the foothills of
the Atherton Tableland escarpment.
