Penrose is a suburb of South Coast, New South
Wales and is about 82 kms south-southwest of
NSW's capital city of Sydney. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Penrose was 1,396 when
there were 696 Females and 700 Males living
there.
Penrose is a small town in the Southern Highlands
of New South Wales, Australia, in Wingecarribee
Shire. Penrose has a station on the Main Southern
railway line served by NSW TrainLink's Southern
Highlands Line. Penrose also has a small general
store, a cafe, rural fire brigade and a timber mill as
well as a hardware store.
