Lancelin is a suburb of South East & Central,
Western Australia and is about 115 kms north-
northwest of WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Lancelin was
606 when there were 288 Females and 318 Males
living there.
Lancelin is a small fishing and tourist town. It is
within the Shire of Gingin at the end of Wanneroo
Road (State Route 60), and a few kilometres from
the start of the Indian Ocean Drive.
Lancelin has a hot-summer mediterranean
climate that is consistently warm throughout the
year, resembling a typical subtropical climate but
with a dry summer.
