Hyden is a suburb of South East & Central, Western
Australia and is about 288 kms east-southeast of
WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Hyden was 520 when
there were 191 Females and 329 Males living there.
The town of Hyden is located in the Shire of
Kondinin. Hyden is home to Wave Rock and
Mulka's Cave, both popular local tourist
attractions. The surrounding areas produce wheat
and other cereal crops. Hyden is a grain receival
site for Cooperative Bulk Handling.
