Chidlow is a small community in the Shire of
Mundaring approximately 45 kilometres east of
Perth, Western Australia.
In the 2011 Australian census the population of
Chidlow was 1,803 when there were 909 Females
and 894 Males living there. Since the closure of
the railway the Chidlow community has adjusted
from being an important transport location to
more of a rural retreat location.
