Travancore is an inner suburb of Melbourne,
Victoria, Australia, 5 km north-west of Melbourne's
central business district. Its local government area
is the City of Moonee Valley. At the 2011 census,
Travancore had a population of 1,700.
Travancore, has seen a transformation in recent
years following a fire that destroyed the Lombard
Paper Factory. This was replaced with residential
towers that now flank Travancore on the southern
side.
