Taggerty is a suburb of Northern Victoria, Victoria
and is about 85 kms northeast of VIC's capital city
of Melbourne. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Taggerty was 330 when there were
168 Females and 162 Males living there. The

located at the intersection of Maroondah Highway
and Thornton Road. The Acheron River also
crosses the highway at Taggerty.
