Fyansford is a township on the western edge of
Geelong, Victoria, Australia. Fyansford, near the
junction of the Moorabool and Barwon Rivers, is 5
km west of Geelong. During the early 1900s a
postcard view of Fyansford across the river was
often depicted, showing industry and the bridge.
Industry has continued to be Fyansford's hallmark,
with a quarry, pre-mix and concrete supplies, and
a waste-disposal depot.
Fyansford is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria and is
about 69 kms west-southwest of VIC's capital city
of
Melbourne. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Fyansford was 189 when there were
90 Females and 99 Males living there. The median
