Boronia is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria,
Australia, 32 km east of Melbourne's Central
Business District in the local government area of
the City of Knox. At the 2011 Census, Boronia had a
population of 20,825.
Located in Melbourne's outer east, Boronia is a
primarily of a residential nature. Blind Creek
forms the southern boundary, while the
Dandenong Creek bounds the north. The Belgrave
Railway line bisects the suburb. Commercial and
retail activity is centred around the junction of
Dorset and Boronia Roads.
