Queensland and is about 146 kms north-northwest
of QLD's capital city of Brisbane. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Southside was
5,509 when there were 2,819 Females and 2,690

Southside is a suburb of Gympie, Queensland,
Australia on the south-western bank of the Mary
River. It contains the Gympie Racecourse and the
Adrian McClintock Park showgrounds, named after
a former mayor of the Shire of Widgee.
