Rosemount is a suburb of South Eastern,
Queensland and is about 93 kms north of QLD's
capital city of Brisbane. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Rosemount was 1,301
when there were 665 Females and 636 Males
living there. The median age for people living in
Rosemount was 41.
Rosemount is a suburb in the Sunshine Coast,
Queensland, Australia. It is located immediately
east of Nambour, bordered on its north and south
by the Petrie and Paynter Creeks. It extends about
six km east to Bli Bli, reaching the Bruce Highway.
As Rosemount is positioned between the major
urban centres of Nambour and Maroochydore it
has attracted some highly priced rural and
residential developments. Most, however, are in a
more modest range.
