Nanango is a town and locality in the South
Burnett Region of Queensland, Australia. In the
2011 census, Nanango had a population of 3.795
people.
Nanango is situated 190 kilometres north-west of
the state capital, Brisbane. Nanango sits at the
junction of the D'Aguilar and Burnett Highways.
Nanango is a typical service and administrative
centre for the surrounding shire. Today the town is
surrounded by rural industries which include beef
and pork production, dairying and milk processing,
timber, small crops, grapes and olives.
