Kallangur is a suburb of Brisbane, Queensland
and is about 24 kms north of QLD's capital city
of Brisbane. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Kallangur was 18,982 when there
were 9,691 Females and 9,291 Males living

Kallangur is a suburb in the Moreton Bay
Region, in Queensland. It is north of the
state capital Brisbane and surrounded by the
suburbs of North Lakes, Murrumba Downs and
Petrie. The two main roads through the town
are Anzac Parade and Old Gympie Road.
Kallangur has grown in recent years due to
high residential demand in the northern
corridor and is mostly suburban. There are
also major infrastructure changes taking place
in the area to ease traffic congestion.
The town is serviced by an array of amenities,
including primary and secondary schools, local
parks and Kallangur Fair. The local shopping
complex houses Woolworths, and a few
conveniences. Westfields Northern Lakes which
is close by has major retail outlets and
franchise stores.
