Biggenden is a town and locality in the North
Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia. Biggenden
is on the Isis Highway 339 kilometres (211 mi)
north-west of the state capital Brisbane, and 84
kilometres (52 mi) west of Maryborough. At the
2011 census, Biggenden had a population of 682
people.
The agricultural town of Biggenden south-west of
the city of Bundaberg, known as the 'Rose of the
Burnett', is proud of its impressive range of roses in
the main street. Biggenden is situated in a valley,
the majestic ranges of Mount Walsh National Park
tower over the town.
