Balnagowan is a suburban town located in the
local government area of the Mackay Regional
Council in the state of Queensland. Balnagowan is
a farming area comprised of a number of farms
and farmland.
Balnagowan Creek runs through the region and
the Pioneer River is the southern boundary
of the area.
Agriculture is a major industry of Balnagowan with
fertile land for growing crops. Excellent pasture
land supports the beef industry for area farmers.
