The community of Amoonguna is located just
outside the Alice Springs Municipality within the
Rodinga Ward of MacDonnell Regional Council.
Amoonguna is a suburb of Northern Territory,
Northern Territory and is about 1298 kms south-
southeast of NT's capital city of Darwin. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Amoonguna
was 275 when there were 140 Females and 135
Males living there.

Amoonguna is 21km from Alice Springs and just off
the Ross Highway.
