Windellama is a suburb of Regional NSW, New
South Wales and is about 178 kms southwest of
NSW's capital city of Sydney. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Windellama was 322
when there were 149 Females and 173 Males living
there. The median age for people living in
Windellama was 45.
South of Bungonia is the village of Windellama
which hosts markets on the third Sunday of the
month and comes alive in November each year
for the Windellama Small Farms Field Day and
Windellama Country Fair.
Windellama is a thriving rural community with an
active Progress Association and Historical Society
who operate a small Museum housed in a replica
building of the 1880s school.
