Tuggerawong is a lakeside suburb of Wyong on the
NSW Central Coast and is located approximately 7
kilometres east of the Wyong CBD. Tuggerawong is
approximately 90 klm north of Sydney and 55 klm
south of Newcastle. Shopping, commercial
facilities, schools and all normal community
services are available in the district. In Wyong
there is a rail connection and there is a
connection to the F3 - Sydney to Newcastle
freeway at Tuggerah. The Wyong Shire has a
population estimated to be greater than 150,000.
In the 2011 Australian census the population of
Tuggerawong was 1,204 when there were 622
Females and 582 Males living there. The median
age for people living in Tuggerawong was 39.
