Tocumwal is a bridge between two states, located
on the Murray River between NSW and Victoria.
Tocumwal is a town in the southern Riverina region
of New South Wales, Australia, in the Berrigan
Shire local government area, near the Victorian
border. Tocumwal is situated on the banks of the
Murray River, 270 kilometres north of the city of
Melbourne. At the 2006 census, Tocumwal had a
population of 1,860. Tocumwal has a semi-arid
climate.
