Portland is a suburb of Regional NSW, New South
Wales and is about 127 kms west-northwest of
NSW's capital city of Sydney. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Portland was 2,307 when
there were 1,169 Females and 1,138 Males living
there. The median age for people living in Portland

Portland is a town in the Central Tablelands of New
South Wales, Australia. The town was named after
Australia's first cement works. The Portland town
centre has a distinct business district, several parks
and sporting clubs.

combination of national parks, crown land, farming
areas and forestry, and has many areas that are
well known for outdoor recreation.
