Grenfell is a town in Weddin Shire in the Central
West of New South Wales, Australia. Grenfell is 370
kilometres west of Sydney. It is close to Forbes,
Cowra and Young. Grenfell is a suburb of Regional
NSW, New South Wales. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Grenfell was 2,583 when
there were 1,302 Females and 1,281 Males living
there. The median age for people living in Grenfell
was 46.
Grenfell is a charming town with a rich heritage
and classic pubs, Grenfell in the beautiful Lachlan
Valley is a historic goldmining town and the
birthplace of the great Australian writer and bush
