Cooyal is a suburb of Regional NSW, New South
Wales, In the 2011 Australian census the population
of Cooyal was 436 when there were 206 Females
and 230 Males living there
Cooyal is situated on the Central West Slopes in
New South Wales. The suburban community of
Cooyal is roughly 207 kilometres away from the
capital city of Sydney. Cooyal is geographically
bounded by several landscapes and seascapes,
such as Lowes Hill, Mount Buckaroo and King of
China Rock, among others. Cooyal has a number
of adjacent tourist spots as well.
Some of these are Gilgandra Observatory, which
lets its visitors become an astronomer for the night
as they see the stars like never before, and
Shoyeon Japanese Garden, which is a beautifully
landscaped Japanese botanic garden.
