Lucas is a new suburb created on 23 June 2011.
Lucas is located in the City of Ballarat. Shopping
chains like Woolworths and the local Wilson's Fruit
and Vegetables have opened stores here with
more expected. The modern outer suburbs of
Lucas, Alfredton, Sebastopol and Delacombe
continue to be developed to new housing and
estates, which are largely filled by young families
and investors.
