Condamine is a town in the Darling Downs region
of Queensland, Australia. The town of Condamine
is 333 kilometres (207 mi) north west of the state
capital Brisbane and 34 kilometres (21 mi) south
from the town of Miles, in the Western Downs
Region local government area. At the 2011 census,
Condamine had a population of 426.
The township of Condamine is located south of
Miles on the meandering Condamine River,
well-known for its excellent fishing. Surrounding
Condamine are many feedlots and a freshwater
fish farm.
